Crusaders castles

A full digital reconstruction of several Crusaders castles, fortresses and chapels from the Kingdom of Jerusalem. This project includes high-resolution 3D models, and an on-site AR experience designed to educate and engage visitors.

We started with general reconstruction of the sites of Apolonia fortress and Belvoir fortress. Currently working hand in hand with the archeological research team on an extensive project at Château Pélerin. This project involves a full reconstruction of the fortress and the church, developed into a virtual reality experience. Details about this amazing project coming soon

Magdala synagogue

In 2009, a first century synagogue was uncovered in Magdala, home of Maria Magdelena. Near the centre of the room, a rectangular stone was discovered, decorated with a relief of a seven-branch menorah, a reminiscent of the Jerusalem Temple. The digital reconstruction of the synagogue was made for the archaeologist of the site.

Campo De Cahuenga, Los Angeles

Campo de Cahunga is a hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles, located near Universal Studios. It is site of the signing of the 1847 Treaty of a ceasefire agreement which ended the American conquest of California. The original adobe structure was demolished in 1900 and it’s exact location was unknown, until it was unearthed in 1997 beneath Lankershim Boulevard during construction of the Metro subway.This reconstruction is based on the archaeological finds and historical records.

Jumping the Berlin wall

This VR project was made for the 60th year comemoratiion of 1961 when an East German border policeman leaped over a barbed-wire barrier into the West section of Berlin. It involved a digital reconstruction of the East Berlin neighborhood, which was destroyed during WW2, as well as a reanactment of the event over green screen. Directed Boris Taschachotin and displyed as 360 VR experience at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin.

Demolished landmarks, Los Angeles

Preservation of 20th century demolished buildings in Los Angeles, this is a collection of demolished Modern and Art Deco buildings on Wilshire boulevard, reconstructed from historical photos.

Little Lake ghost town, California

Little Lake is a former settlement off route 395 in Inyo county, California. The town’s hotel was burned down in 1989, and the rest of the place was bulldozed into oblivion in 2000. Reconstruction made for the California Rock Art Foundation, using historical photos.
